Christmas

Christmas was a busy affair as usual. Mommy had lots of pre-Christmas arts & crafts projects for you to do.

And you wrote letters to Santa the night before.

Remarkably I woke up before both of you which gave me a chance to get the breakfast started before it became too crazy. We also brought in the computer to give mommy her two video presents.

While I was cooking you opened your presents. You received most of what you wanted. Halmoni and Haraboji gave you a lot of money and Santa gave you video games, the Harry Potter movies, some dolls, a weird Hello Kitty thing, some very cool 'girl' legos (pink legos!).

After opening presents you played and had breakfast while I got started on dinner. I made a standing rib roast, creme fraiche horseradish sauce, a corn & pancetta side, roasted oyster/crimini mushrooms, and trifle for dessert. Just before it was cooked you went with Mommy over to the Roebucks. He had cooked a goose, pearled onions, and port wine sauce, mashed potatoes and braised brussel sprouts. Plus yummy cheeses.  I joined up with everyone after the food was cooked.

It was another nice Christmas. All captured on video thanks to Mommy as head cinematographer.
