Your class at school invited the parents in to see what you have been working on lately. You've been spending time understand what a city is, what functions it has, and so forth. Your big project was to build a miniature of a city. Each kid had a building to make.
Here is a picture of the entire city. If you look closely you can see the level of detail. There's a background collage that everyone made, streets with yellow cats-eyes, trees, individual people and cars on the roads and sidewalks and of course the buildings. There's even a base for the buildings if you look closely with bushes and fences and other things around the building.
Here is your building. The Maryot Hotel. I'm not sure when we stayed at a Marriott Hotel but I think there is one next to your school so maybe that is where you got the name.
You also did a "picture extension" drawing. The teachers gave you a photo and you had to draw around it by figuring out what the rest of the scene looks like. Clever.
And you had to do a drawing in Spanish too. This is your ice cream store or le heladeria. If you lock closely you can see some money in the counter girl's hands.
Another shot of the city.
Finally you sang to us. You are a little tough to see. You are in the back in the green shirt.
