I went away this weekend to Seattle for my 43rd birthday. I'm not sure what you guys did. Maybe Mommy will blog although she hasn't blogged in months so I wouldn't count on it.
I had lots of fun seeing my friends and on the last day I went with my friends Ty and Jungerhans to go fly fishing near Yakima, Washington. Which I had never done before. It wasn't too hard but then again I'm hardly a pro at it. But it's fairly easy to get your fly out where you need it. The trick is the fly isn't heavy like on a traditional casting. It's light. Too light to cast. So you actually have a heavy line. You are actually casting the line not the fly. It was nice being outside and being on the river but we didn't get A SINGLE FISH. We had a few small bites from what felt like small fish but no real catches. Maybe I can take both of you out there if we visit Seattle again.
