Today was your day. Both mommy and I came in. Our 'something' was science experiments. So we did two in the class that we've done before.
- Sodium Polyacrylate Experiment. This is the experiment where we show how diapers work. We cut open diapers and shake out the crystals of sodium polyacrylate. Then we add a small amount to a lot of water and it turns into a gel. It's always amazing how little you need to solidify the water.
- Corn Starch Experiment. We did the experiment where we mix corn starch and water which makes a suspension that behaves likes both a liquid and a solid. When you move it fast it solidifies. When you move it slowly it behave like a liquid.
