Today you both went to your first baseball game. And we saw the Yankees. But not world famous New York Yankees. We saw the Staten Island Yankees - a minor league baseball team. And in my opinion this is more fun. It's cheaper, easier to get to the stadium, and the fans are more interesting. The stadium is on Staten Island and the easiest way to get there is by ferry (which is free). We drove over to Manhattan, parked, met up with the Munsell's and hopped onto the ferry.
Both of you weren't particularly interested in the game. Caden was sick and you wanted to play with the iPhone and your coloring books. But you had a good time. You met a couple of other girls there who helped you color and you played with Caroline and Jeffrey Munsell. And you enjoyed the funny things they did between innings. It was a hot day but luckily we were in the shade. We left just before the end of the game (they won) and headed home.
