Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day. And your mother's birthday. When she woke up we gave her her cards (2) and some presents you made at school - a bookmark and a little plant. She received her big presents (an iPad and ski boots when we were out in Utah) a while back. We also made a little movie for her:

After that we headed to a little Mother's Day celebration out in the new park in our neighborhood. It was very cold even though it has been warm and sunny recently. We did not dress appropriately. You'll see below that you both had shorts on. There was a band and some arts and crafts stands. But we didn't stay long. Next we headed to a brunch party at one of our friends apartments. We ate a little and you both played with the other kids. Then we headed home to relax a little. Then we headed to dinner at Momokawa; a nice traditional Japanese restaurant. It had a cute little spiral staircase up to the small dining area. We had a wonderful meal and called it a day. Happy Birthday and Happy Mother's Day mommy!
