Today we rejoined the Korean playgroup with a few neighborhood friends. We went a few times last year but stopped because we had too many conflicts on Saturday mornings. You went alone last week with your friend Kai and his mom; this week, one of the families hosted a New Year's brunch with mandoo-duk-gook (traditional Korean soup with rice cakes and dumplings). Your new teacher Min is quite funny - today she taught two songs. The first was a song about body parts (Caden just copied since he refused to stay in class).
The next song was about going #2 (yucky!) which the boys just laughed and laughed.
After class, the kids made some mandoo.
Caden was happy to find a juicebox.
Then he found another little boy who also loves Thomas trains as much as he does.
Finally it was time to eat lunch. Yummy!
After lunch, we went to your classmate Willa's birthday party with Carmelo. You love seeing Carmelo and all of his animals in afterschool science class and at parties. Check out this lizard.
