Of course, after checking out the jellyfish, you both had chocolate milk and snacks in front of the big fish tank. Then we emailed some photos to Daddy to show him the fun he was missing.

On the way out, you were upset because the Polar Express 4-D movie was no longer playing. Then she really wanted to see Daddy. Cheer up, Sophia - more fun is on the way.
We still had a few hours until the party so we drove to Bay Ridge in search of dim sum. The place I found online had closed (bummer) so we ended up at a Malaysian place (fine but nothing special). You both enjoyed slurping the noodles.
After lunch, we drove to Luke's birthday party at BounceU - what an incredible space. We hosted a kids party in Seattle at a similar jumping place but have never been to one in NYC. The main attraction was this super steep slide - check it out!
It was fast! I even went down a few times with Caden. Wheeee!
Caden and you also loved this climbing web - in fact, both of you made it to the top. You climbed up with relative ease, twisting between the elastic bands and pulling yourself up to each level - check out how high you are!
When Caden saw you at the top, he was determined to make it to the top too.
Through sheer effort and determination, Caden managed to climb his way to the top. . ..
. . . with a little help from Clara's Daddy, Stephen). Good job, Caden!
There was also a funny boxing ring with super-sized boxing gloves. Neither of you were very interested but I managed to snap a quick photo of Caden. Very cute.

Both of you were exhausted after our long day - you both fell asleep in the car on the way home. After a quick bath, we made Valentine's sugar cookies for our playdate tomorrow.
Yummy cookie!
Then you requested brocolli with olive oil and tomatoes - a good way to balance out all of the sweets you just ate. What a good girl.
