Bronx Zoo

Today is the day after Thanksgiving and luckily I did not have to go to work. Daddy had to work half-day, so I took you to the Bronx Zoo. We were lucky because the zoo was empty - everyone else must have been shopping for good deals on Black Friday. Fortunately we were able to see several animals close-up like the red panda. Look carefully and you'll see the red panda's cute face.


Next to the red panda was the snow leopard. You both were trying to get a closer view of his spots.

I love seeing the zebras. They were clustered in the center having their lunch of tall grass. You two were happy eating your goldfish snack in the stroller too.


Next stop was the Bug Carousel - your favorite!

Then we went to see the Madagascar exhibit for the first time. We saw several lemurs like the funny one in the Disney movie Madagascar.

We sat on a bench for a quick lunch of leftover turkey and then went back to the Bug Carousel one more time before driving home.
