Goodbye Rose, Hello Myra

This week we said goodbye to Rose. It was very sad for all of us because she was a great nanny to both of you. But you especially were heartbroken because the two of you bonded very closely while she worked for us. To celebrate her move we took her out for dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi.

You both got to eat your favorite sushi - tobiko.

We took a lot of pictures because we will miss her. Hopefully she will visit us soon.

At this point you still didn't quite understand that she was leaving.

Rose was nice enough to stay until we found a new nanny. And they both overlapped for a few days to ease the transition.

And of course we took a lot more photos.

You can see how much she's going to miss both of you.

And here's Myra. You both haven't bonded quite the same way yet with her but she's a very good nanny and you both like her a lot. Hopefully we won't have to put the two of you through that for a while.
