On the flight to LA, both Caden and you were mostly well-behaved. I brought along lots of snacks and things to do on the airplane; my backpack was full of tricks, and you exhausted all of the batteries - DVD player, my laptop computer and my iphone. We landed early at LAX, picked up our rental car and drove to Pasadena to sleep-over at your cousins' house. Sara and Scott were so excited to see you too. Since it was late (9PM PT is really midnight in NY), we went to bed after 30 minutes of saying hello and catching up.
The next morning, Mikyung prepared breakfast for all of the kids - chocolate croisssants.
While we waited for Uncle Chester and Mikyung to run a few errands, you enjoyed watching My Little Pony and snacking on blueberries.
Then we went to go visit your great-grandfather (Halmoni's Daddy) in his nursing home. Halmoni and Halahboji were so excited to see all of the grandkids together.
Hi Great-Grandpa! It has been about a year since we last saw him and unfortunately his health has gotten worse.

After our visit, we drove back to Scott/Sara's house for a picnic that Halmoni prepared.

Since it was so hot outside, we went inside after lunch. Unfortunately it was not much cooler inside since the air-conditioner was broken. Caden had fun playing with Halmoni while you played with Sara and Scott in Sara's room.
After an hour or so, we decided to go swimming in the hotel pool to cool off. First we had to get ready - what a relief it was to be in a cool room. Ahhhh!

On Sunday, we met Sara/Scott for brunch at Le Grande Orange before driving to Halmoni's house. You enjoyed mac n' cheese and Caden ate fish with black beans and rice. Yummy!

What fun we had seeing Sara/Scott for the weekend - now we're off to Halmoni's house!
