Princeton Playdate

This weekend we drove down to Princeton for a pool playdate with Gordon/Mari and for a mini-getaway. First we drove into Princeton to pick up some breakfast pastries. When we arrived at Gordon's house, those pastries just disappeared - both Caden and you enjoyed chocolate croissants.

It was a bit rainy so we hung around Gordon's house and played with all of his toys. Damon made us a nice lunch of homemade pizzas, and then we headed to the pool because the weather cleared up. Luckily, we made it to the pool for the only hour of sunshine. First, time to load up on sunscreen.

You noticed some bigger kids jumping off the diving board and wanted to jump off. Brave girl! You jumped off the diving board all by yourself and then swam to the side. Very impressive, Sophia. Daddy will post a video later.

Caden also wanted to jump off the diving board, but I refused to let him do it. Jumping from the side of the pool is enough thrills for Caden for now. Go Caden!

After swimming, we went back to Gordon's house and did some crafts before dinner. Rehana bought some mosaic magnets - how did she know how much you loved these type of activities.

Check it out!

We enjoyed a nice dinner - Damon grilled steaks and corn. Yummy! After dinner, we checked into the Westin Princeton and went to bed early. What a fun day!
