Today we went with the Han-Witt's and Kang-Ho's to the Bronx Zoo. You guys have been many times but their kids have never been.
Joshua is in the middle. He is inbetween both of your ages.
Both of you climbed on to a zoo vehicle. You're going to get us kicked out.
The daddy's had stroller duty that day.
One exhibit we hadn't seen before was the gorillas. I think it was closed or too busy. But it was quite impressive. Lots of them and good views too.
Here's Olivia (Sally and Ben's daughter). She is the most laid back kid I've ever seen. Not a peep out of her.
And then of course we hit the bug carousel. Instead of horses they have bugs!
Good job they aren't real.
Mommy will keep you safe.
And the end of the day everyone was wiped out.
But we weren't done yet. We headed over to Arthur Avenue which is nearby. It's a real Italian part of town. Here's a great butcher store. There are a few whole, but skinned animals hanging in the window. And that white stuff in the front is tripe (cow's stomach). Neither of you were gross out as I've tried to make sure you know where your food comes from.
Then we stopped off and bought some home made pasta at a pasta store. The owner took a liking to you guys and let you come behind the counter to watch it being made. It was yummy.
