Alex's Birthday Party

As part of our daddy daughter weekend we went to Alex's birthday on Sunday.  He's a friend of yours from Brooklyn Friends Yellow Room.  It was a science birthday at Cosmic Cove on Atlantic Avenue.  They mainly had lots of animals that they brought out.  You've been a little frightened in the past of non-traditional animals.  But as you'll see you weren't squeamish at all this day.

First up was a lizard.  You got to pet it and hold it.

 

Next a snake.  You got to hold that one as well.

 

You also did some science experiments.  You made a blog out of two liquids.  Some kids were more gross out by the blogs than the animals.

 

And finally you volunteered to have a giant dragon lizard put on your back.  You didn't mind one bit.

 

When we were all done we headed out to run some errands. You fell asleep on the way home so I thought the day was over. But you woke up a little bit later and we went to see Monsters and Aliens in 3-D. We got to wear glasses that made the movie look like it came out from the screen. It was a really fun movie to see.
