NY Science Museum

After your haircut we went to the NY Science Museum in Queens.  They had a couple of rocket ships outside.

First we stopped in the cafeteria to refuel.

Silly girl.

I was trying to take a photo of you with your eyes closed...

...but that kept making you laugh...

...and laugh.

After lunch we headed through the exhibits.  You loved all the stuff on bacteria.  They had microscopes out so we could see paramecium and other types of microbes.  This was the big hit though.  Big rings you could dip into a soapy solution and make huge bubbles.

They had a funny hallway filled with distorted mirrors.

This room took a video of whoever was in the room and made a delayed motion video of the people and colorized it.  That's you and me.

Daddy did a levitating magic trick.

Caden checked out the polarizers.

And found out how many molecules are in his body (answer: a lot!)

Both of you had a great time playing with a lot of mazes and nerf balls that shot through them with compressed air.

Bernoulii's Principle.

Caden has always been fascinated with vacuum cleaners.

There was also a little play area that you hung out in for a while.
Overall we were pretty impressed.  We'll have to keep coming back here so you can learn more.
