Your 4th Birthday at Brooklyn Friends

Nowadays the birthday festivities never end. When I was a kid you had a birthday party, opened presents, and that was it. Nowadays apparently you have another birthday party at school.  Both mommy and I took some time off to come to your class this morning.

You can see in the video below that you came out to greet us and ask us into the classroom.  Then we set up the cupcakes on a platter.  Here's one of your teachers Amber keeping you entertained.

These are all your classmates.  Of course Carter is staring at you instead of the teacher.

Then you called off, one by one, each person to go sit down in the eating area.

Then we sang happy birthday and you blew out the candles again and then it was time to eat.  Of course you had to sit next to Carter.

You still have a preference of eating only the icing.  Maybe next year we'll just give you a bowl of it and skip the cake.  You take your time and are very particular about how it is done.  Everyone had finished their entire cupcake before you had even finished the frosting.  One boy was saying, "Sophia is NEVER going to finish!"

Here's the jobs list.  You can see you are Line Leader today.  But you were also the co-Snack Caller which you'll see in the video.

And then to end the festivities mommy read from one of your favorite books, Pinkalicious.  At one point you stopped mommy and said, "I'm going to read this bit" pointing to the next page.  And sure enough when mommy got there you jumped right in and read it perfectly.  Clever girl.

Here's your video.
