The main event was to watch a kid-friendly play of Little Red Riding Hood - at one point, Carter and you ended up on the stage with the actors (along with several other kids!). Look closely for Carter and you on the stage!
Of course, after the play, there was birthday cake and juice too.
After Benji's party ended, we were off to Amelia's Princess Party at the gym of Plymouth Church School. There was a huge princess bouncy castle in the gym - how fun!
Here is the birthday princess Amelia who you know from ballet class and from Plymouth Church.
You were so excited when Cinderella arrived - you were also excited to change into your own Sleeping Beauty princess dress.
There was a long line for the face painting, so you ate some lunch with Chiara. Then we got back into line for face painting by Cinderella.
Cinderella painted a beautiful pink butterfly on your cheek to match your princess dress.
After watching magic tricks by a yellow clown, it was time for birthday cake and cupcakes! What a fun, exhausting day.
A few weekends ago, we celebrated Linden's 4th birthday at Creative Arts Studio - it was on the Sunday before school started after the holidays, so you were very happy to see all of your classmates, especially Carter.
After beading with Carter, you made three sand bottles - of course, you decided to use primarily pink and pink sparkly sand.
Two of the parents got a workout dragging the kids around the room in the tunnels - all of the kids squealed with joy!
A little rest time with Luella and Arla before birthday cake!
Happy Birthday, Linden!
On the day before your birthday, we also celebrated Arla's 4th birthday at The Painted Pot. Arla is also in the Yellow Room. Most of the kids selected some form of piggy bank or animal figure, but you selected a princess hand mirror.
Carter's daddy, Michael, and I traded turns watching you two play around the small art studio - luckily none of the "china" was broken but we had a few close calls. Cute photo of you two hanging onto my tummy!
Happy Birthday, Arla!
On the way out, it started to snow so you stuck your tongue out to catch some snowflakes. Silly Sophia!
