Turkey Day

Today is Thanksgiving, Daddy's favorite holiday. Last night you helped Daddy make the blackberry pie - you ate one carton of blackberries too.

This morning, you helped make the cranberry sauce. . .first you measured the cranberries.

Then you poured the sugar. . . .

While you were cooking with Daddy, I took Caden for a run across the Brooklyn Bridge - Caden fell asleep in the stroller.

In the afternoon, while Daddy continued to cook, we took a stroll around the neighborhood

When we got home, it was almost dinner time. We started off with some appetizers - little toast with ricotta cheese, tapenade (olives) and strips of basil. Yummy!

Next, you help me set the table. What a good helper!

We woke Caden up around 3:30 since we planned to eat at 4PM. Caden was cranky - poor baby!

Check out the beautiful turkey Daddy made for us. It was delicious!

So many choices. . .

Time to dig in.

We thanked Daddy for working hard all-day long for our Thanksgiving dinner.

After dinner, we enjoyed some blackberry pie with vanilla ice cream. Yummy!

Then Daddy passed out while I cleaned up and you two watched Dora.
