Thanksgiving Sing

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with your preschool in the Brooklyn Friends Meeting House. All of the preschool students, teachers, and their families/caregivers attended the Thanksgiving Sing hosted by the School Administrators and your music teacher, Tony. It was fun to listen to all of the new songs from your music class. You were so excited too - you kept waving HELLO to me since I was sitting across the room.

On the way home while crossing the street, your rainboot slipped off and you were so upset that your sock was wet. I did not notice it when it happened, but one of the other moms picked up your rainboot. You were wailing and inconsolable. I put your rainboot back on and started to carry you - after two steps, your rainboot slipped off again and you started crying hysterically again. WOW - what a scene we made. Luckily I had your pink ballet flats in my bag so we took off your wet sock and put on other shoes - that made everything better. By the smile on your face in this photo only five minutes later, you would never guess you had a major meltdown earlier.
