Two Birthday Parties

Today we went to two birthday parties. One was in Prospect Park with one your schoolmates. It was right next to the merry-go-round so we had free rides all day. And of course yummy cake.

After that we drove out to New Jersey to Gordon's birthday party. Gordon is one of your best friends. You often go on about how you want to marry him. It was starting to get cold so Caden had to wear his funny monkey hat.

Here's Gordon. The theme for the day was soccer. Everyone got a soccer ball to take home.

We never got around to playing soccer. They had all the equipment but most of the kids were most interested in horsing around with them instead of using them to play soccer.

Caden had fun getting stuck in the net.

And you had fun lining up the balls and the little orange markers. Caden had fun messing up your work.

Even the cake was soccer themed. That's the cake; a ball on green grass.
