This weekend we went on a boat tour around the southeast portion of Manhattan. It's basically where we live. An artist had installed 4 fake waterfalls around the area. It wasn't anything that special but it was a nice excuse to take a boatride and it was a very nice sunny day. Here's one of the waterfalls underneath the Brooklyn Bridge near our home.
After standing in line we made it on the boat.
You were both excited to be on a boat and we were able to score some good seats at the top of the boat at the back.
Don't worry. I'm not falling out of the boat. I just have long arms.
We went with some of Carol's friends so there were plenty of kids to keep you both occupied. Milk break.
"No more pictures please."
Here you can see two waterfalls - one under the Brooklyn Bridge and one beyond the Manhattan Bridge.
After that we walked over to Battery Park to play in the water fountain area that both you and Caden love.
After the kids were all tired out we headed to a nice restaurant in the area near the water. If you look closely you can see Mrs. Liberty out in the distance. For what everyone assumed was a tourist trap restaurant it was actually very good.
And right next to our tables was a nice clean green lawn for everyone to tire themselves out again.
Your best Statue of Liberty impression.
