Ski Bunny

It finally snowed in New York City so we took you to a local ski resort, Mount Peter, to teach you how to ski. Look how cute you look in your pink ski jacket and red helmet. Luckily you looked quite comfortable in all of your ski gear.

Caden was happy to watch and hang out while Daddy and I took turns carrying you up the tiny hill. We got a workout serving as your personal ski lift!

Look at your first few runs down the bunny hill!
(Daddy will post some videos later.)

Daddy kept telling you to make an "A" with your skis so that you learn how to snow plow slowly down the hill. However, we don't think you have strong enough legs to snow plow. You preferred to do "french fries" with your skis parallel.

Luckily you did not pick up too much speed and you are low to the ground so it did not hurt when you fell down. We'll try to go a few more times before our Spring ski trip to Deer Valley in April.

After a few hours at Mount Peter, we drove to a park nearby to go sledding; however, you were mishaving (probably because you were too tired). Daddy got angry because you were being so stubborn and did not want any help with the sled.

All of the other kids were having fun sledding down a little hill, but you just sulked, so we tossed you back into the car to drive home. Within five minutes, both Caden and you were fast asleep. Maybe I will take you sledding down the hill in Dumbo tomorrow if the snow lasts.
