Valentine's Day Party

This Saturday we went to a Valentine's Day Party thrown by friends of Carol's. You know their son Jeffrey well (he's a bit older than you) and their daughter Caroline less (he's a bit younger than you). I don't think you knew anyone else at the party. They had the usual arts and crafts activities. Your favorite being 'decorate your own cupcake'.

Most of the kids ended up ignoring their cupcakes and just eating the decorative items. Including you.

You looked very focused.

Here's a video of all the things you did. Note, you still have a preoccupation with pink things. You'll notice that you are staring up lovingly at pink balloons at one point. And at the end of the party there was a lot of heart confetti on the floor. You went around and picked up about a 150 hot pink hearts. Every one. The light pink ones you ignored entirely.



For the games you didn't have much fun. There was a relay race where you refused to run but rather walk. Slowly. And then a game called Freeze Dance where you are supposed to dance until the music stops. Unfortunately you never danced. You were just frozen the whole time. Oddly enough no one seemed to notice and you won the first round. Either you are shy or very smart.



Afterwards you warmed up a little and had some fun.
