More Birthday Celebrations!

Tonight we hosted a birthday party and post-New Year's celebration at an indoor playspace called NY City Explorers. Now that most of our friends have two kids, it would have been too many people to have at our apartment (not to mention the major clean-up afterwards). Since the party coordinators knew you liked Dora, they planned several fun Dora-theme activities for the kids - first, there was coloring big Dora sheets.

After some free playtime, we served pizza to the kids while the adults snacked on other finger foods. Once you found the pink and red M&Ms, that was all you would eat for dinner. Oh well - tonight is your birthday party, so Daddy said you could eat whatever you wanted.

Next activity was a scavenger hunt to find a giftbag with your name on it.

You had more fun running around chasing the other kids and playing in the ballpit with Maya.

Too bad Caden could not really join in the fun, but he was content to be carried by Daddy.

We also played a version of musical chairs where everyone hopped on colored tiles until the music stopped.

It was time for a break and to eat cupcakes!

Caden had fun too being entertained by Carley, May and our other friends.

Before it was time to go home, Lola and you had fun running up and down the ramp and climbing on the railing. Look at those smiles! What a fun party!
