Today I took you for your 3-year old check-up with Dr. Turner. While we were waiting, you kept asking me, “Where is the Daddy Doctor?” Luckily, no shots for you today. You are now 38 inches tall and 35 pounds, which is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. You also had your blood pressure taken for the first time with an arm cuff.
Dr. Turner asked you a few questions to check your development: What is your name? How old are you? What is your favorite color? Who is Dora’s best friend? This was an easy test – you passed with flying colors! He also looked into your ears, listened to your chest, and checked your back/spine. . .and that was it.
