We started out with yummy watercress soup as an appetizer and then waited for the roast to finish cooking.
Daddy also made an 'au-poivre' sauce for the rib roast. When he poured the cognac mixture into the saucepan, it created lots of flames -- moments later, the fire alarm went off.
What a beautiful roast! Daddy also made scalloped potatoes as a side dish. Yummy!

After dinner, we had a yulelog from Almondine Bakery for dessert. As you can tell from this photo, you really enjoyed this chocolate treat. Look at all of the chocolate on your smiling face!
Daddy passed out after dinner. He deserved a break after cooking a delicious Christmas dinner. Thank you, Daddy!
