Ballerina

In January, you will start taking ballet classes with Cobble Hill Ballet - they just started a new class on Tuesdays in Brooklyn Heights. There is a dress code for your ballet class so I bought a few things for you today: pink leotard, pink leggings/tights and a pink tutu. You were so excited to wear your ballet outfit!

You were posing in front of the mirror in the bathroom and admiring yourself. In fact, you kept saying, "Mommy, I look beautiful!"

You would not take off your ballet outfit all night - in fact, you wanted to sleep in it but I would not allow that.

Today I also bought Caden a silver Christmas ornament which looks like Rudolph and is inscribed with "Baby's 1st Christmas 2007." Though it is not a toy, you loved holding it and kept saying "Look at this - it is so beautiful!"
Notice in the photo there is a red dress hanging on the tree which is your special Christmas ornament. On the front, it says "Baby's 1st Christmas" and on the back it says "2005" which is the year you were born.

You also played with another Christmas ornament which is a teddy bear dressed in a pink tutu just like yours. Here is one more picture of you in your ballet outfit in front of the tree - I cannot wait to see you and all of the other toddlers in ballet class in a few weeks.
