Today is Thanksgiving - our favorite holiday because we eat, rest and don't have to travel anywhere. Daddy does all of the cooking on Thanksgiving; I was worried because Daddy was deathly sick earlier in the week. He even called in sick for a day and a half because he could not move. Luckily he started to feel better on Wednesday afternoon.
In the morning, I took Caden and you for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Daddy spent all day cooking - he made a big roast turkey (14 pounds just for us!), stuffing, creamed spinach, cranberries, mashed potatoes. What a hard worker!

You did your Nemo puzzle while we waited for dinner to be ready.

CHEERS! Our dinner is almost ready to go. . .

Say cheese, Sophia! Daddy was too busy to take a photo of us.

Silly Daddy! He is going to stab the turkey after laboring in the kitchen all day long!

The chef is pleased with his work - check out all of the yummy dishes Daddy made for us!

Now it's time to eat! Bon appetit!

You ate a lot, especially small bits of turkey with cranberries. Yummy!

Even Caden enjoyed eating turkey. I put the leftover turkey, potatoes and some onions into the food processor to make turkey mash for Caden. He loved it!

Thanks for another great Thanksgiving Dinner. Your Dad mentioned that this is the last time he is going to make a traditional turkey dinner so we'll see what the menu will be next year.
