Upstate NY

This Saturday we went up to upstate NY to see one of mommy's friends. She had invited us up so we could go pony riding. Unfortunately they didn't have any instructors on duty when we were there. But we did get to see a lot of cool animals. Here's the main stable where they keep people's horses.
A couple of them were brought out to be brushed and saddled up for a ride.
This one looks a little scared huh? Maybe the rider was big!
This nice girl let you feed the horse. Sometimes you are scared of animals (especially big animals) but you just loved the horses and had no problems.
Behind the stables were some riding zones.
There were no actual horses out here but you and Liam kept looking for them.
And we found a big mound of chewed up rubber that I presume they were going to lay down for flooring to make it soft for the horses. Everyone was fascinated by it.
Then we wandered over to another area where there were some horses stabled. It was very muddy.
The horses would always come over in the hopes that you guys had some food.
And then we found some hens and roosters. One of the roosters 'cock-a-doodle-doo'd. You had never heard this before except when we sing "Old McDonald Had A Farm". It wasn't until I told you that it was 'cock-a-doodle-doo' that you realized it was rooster.
We had Caden all bundled up because it was very cold out. He was content to hang with mommy.
Since it was fall the leaves had started to change color. There were some beautiful reds, and yellows, and oranges.
Can you tell what is wrong with this pictures and the next one? Click on it and blow it up. Is the camera out of focus?
No it's a picture of a tree and house reflected off water in a pond. I turned the camera upside down to make it look like it is right side up. Pretty cool huh?
Then we wandered over to another farm and these horses came galloping over. Clydesdales! They were humungous!
Everyone was a little scared at first because they were so big. And they kept bumping us in our heads looking for food.
That's what it must have looked like for you standing on the ground. They were tall.
Here you can get a good idea of how big they were.
And they had some donkeys too. Hee-haw.
And goats and sheep too.
Bye bye Sophia.

After that we headed back to warm up. Everyone was cold. Except for you. You took your hat off and your coat. On the way back we saw another auditorium where some riders were practicing.

And that was it. What a fun day.
