Next, you did Arts & Crafts and made a photo frame - nice job, Sophia.
After you were done with your photo frame, you had your face painted with 3 yellow hearts. You smeared it a little bit so to me it just looked like you got some yellow mustard on your face.
We snacked on some pizza - you must have been hungry because you ate a whole slice!
We sang the Happy Birthday song to Kai and all of the kids got mini-cupcakes which you love to eat.
Next, the party coordinators brought out a few animals for the kids to pet - a yellow-spotted gecko, a snake (boa) and a green iguana.
After the Museum, we drove to Kai's house near Red Hook (Columbia Waterfront) for a BBQ. Caden and I spent most of the time hanging out on the terrace admiring the lovely view of downtown Manhattan.
You had fun playing with some of the other kids and exploring Kai's toys on the terrace. Here you are driving Kai's Mini-Mercedes Benz around the deck.
Later, you found a guitar inside the house and starting to strum it and sing 'La La La La' - maybe you'll be a musician when you grow up!
After everyone finished eating hot dogs, hamburgers and kebabs, we all sang Happy Birthday to Kai and enjoyed a Thomas the Train strawberry shortcake from Almondine Bakery - it was very yummy that Daddy and I ate two pieces. What a fun birthday party!
