Today you and I took a walk up to a park that was renovated near us. They actually tore up the real grass and put in fake grass. This is a very New York thing to do. There's no way they can keep nice new grass alive so fake grass is actually a good idea. The park itself was nice.
As you can see there is a nice view of downtown Brooklyn from the park. And the grass area is huge!
There is also a nice World War II memorial wall at one end. It's a lot nicer looking there now. We'll get to use this park to learn how to play soccer in the years to come.
