Well we took you down to the hospital today to see your baby brother. You have been fairly grouchy these last few days. Probably because you miss mommy. We walked grannie and grandpa around the neighborhood and ate croissants from Almondine's by the water. Then I took you on the A train up to Roosevelt Hospital. You were very excited to see Caden. You kept trying to butt into mommy's breastfeeding efforts so you could pet and touch the baby. Eventually mommy finished and you were able to hold Caden which you loved. His crying would make you laugh. But you eventually got bored and mommy was pragmatic enough to bring some toys for you. In particular she brought you Little Mermaid on DVD. I brought a portable DVD player so you watched that for a while.
Finally after a lot of crying, screaming, and whining we were able to get you, mommy, and Caden to sleep for a few hours and let daddy relax. But not before you went ballistic with mommy's lip balm. You'll notice your face is a little greasy in some of these pictures. When you woke up we grabbed some food for mommy and then headed home. I put you to sleep and then snuck out to stay with mommy because she is lonely. You'll be a little upset with daddy tomorrow morning when you wake up...
