The teacher explained where babies came from using a large photo book with the female anatomy and she also read a few stories about becoming a big sister/brother. She also led some role-playing activities with toy dolls, but it was not very effective - essentially, you (and most of the other kids) just threw your toy dolls on the floor and dangled them by their limbs.
After class, my friend Lisa Marchese and her three kids came over to our house for an afternoon playdate. You had fun playing with Emma (5), Liam (3) and Collin (almost 4 months). In fact, you skipped your nap so that you could hang out with the other kids. You enjoyed holding the baby too - which was much better training than the sibling prep class this morning.

Since Emma and Liam were quite worn out from their school fair in the morning, we decided to put on the Little Einsteins DVD so that everyone could relax and just watch TV. When Collin woke up from his nap, you wanted to hold him again. This time he was a bit cranky because he was hungry (but you did not seem to mind his loud crying!).

Let's hope you are as sweet to your baby brother in a few weeks!
