Outside there were some big fish (maybe 3-4 feet long) waiting for the cooks to take the scraps outside and throw them in the water. We had fun watching them fight each other for the scraps.

As usual when we get home from dinner we'd head out the back of the hotel to the beach. There was usually a nice sunset occurring since we ate so early.

We'd sit around while you played with the sand and shells.

On Monday we went to a turtle farm. They grow turtles for various zoos and countries. There were some very large ones (~500 lbs) and very tiny ones. Mommy bought you some food to throw to the turtles. You would laugh whenever they pecked the floating food out of the water.

Here's a closeup of one of the bigger turtles.

You can see that the main turtle area was quite big and just filled with turtles.

We visited some of the smaller tanks where the younger turtles are learning to get their flippers wet. Here I am tossing you into one of the tanks. Actually you are just sitting on the rail while I hold you tightly.

A lady who worked there also pulled a small one out for you to see.

In addition to turtles they had a big aquarium with fish and some sharks.

Big Iguana lizards!

And a bird sanctuary. You helped me determine what each of the birds are called with this diagram.

Then a man who worked there came over and put bird seed in mommy's hand and then let a bird land on her hand.

We then put some bird seed on your hand so you could play with the birdy too.

Most days we did this in the morning; lounged around by the pool and ate goldfish and star puffs.

And then one of us would put you in the pool to tire you out. You liked jumping in from the edge, swimming to mommy or daddy, and hanging out in the tunnel which had an echo when you shouted. I could hear you one day all the way from the beach.

Some days we would venture into the ocean. You weren't particularly fond of this because you would always get water in your mouth and ocean water is salty! Yucky.

Whenever you were in the water we'd put 'floaties' on your arms to make it easier for you to enjoy yourself.

There were lots of palm trees everywhere too. I just love palm trees.

Here's a nice shot of the hotel pool. You are off to the right with mommy. Sometimes lizards would pop out of the shrubs to sun themselves. You just loved watching the lizards.

One of the last nights we went to Periwinkle at the Ritz Carlton. So we dressed up a bit.

You were in a very good mood and kept giving me hugs and kisses.

The obligatory family shot at dinner which your mom requests on every vacation we ever go on.

What's this?!! Ice cream? You were a good girl and it was our last day so we splurged and let you have two scoops of ice cream.

One last funny shot. Whenever your hair got wet it would stick together in funny clumps. Almost like your hair was braided.

And here's some videos:
