Jersey City Playdate

This afternoon we drove to Jersey City to visit our friends May and Mike and their 6-month old son Joshua. We left the house around 1PM which is normally your nap time. You fell asleep in the carseat but woke up after we found a parking spot near May's apartment. Joshua was taking a nap when we arrived so you had the whole place to yourself to explore all of his books and toys.

We enjoyed eating snacks and yummy sandwiches while watching you play with all of Joshua's toys. First stop was Joshua's "office" which features baby-versions of the Sesame Street characters.
When Joshua woke up, he was hungry so Mike and May fed him some sweet potatoes and then a bottle of formula.
You also climbed onto the couch to give Joshua hugs and kisses - how sweet! Daddy and I hope you will just as sweet to your baby brother in a few months.
One more shot - now whenever you see a camera, you say "CHEESE!" Who taught you to say that?
We left Jersey City at 4:30PM because you started to rub your eyes - of course you were sleepy since you only napped for 40 minutes instead of 2 hours. You fell asleep after a few minutes in the car and then we kept you in the carseat to finish your nap in the apartment.

About an hour later you woke up crying and wouldn't stop crying. I thought you were hungry since you skipped your afternoon snack and milk, so I warmed up some noodles for your dinner. After a few bites, you still kept crying. We offered you some of your other favorite things to eat like goldfish, oranges, and blueberries, but you did not want anything else. Next Daddy and I brought you to our bedroom to have a lay-down but you still kept crying - you looked like you were in pain but we couldn't understand what you were saying.

Finallly, after another ten minutes of crying and rolling around the bed, I asked if you wanted to do puzzles and you climbed down to run out to the living room. You instantly snapped out of your sad mood and started to play with your puzzles. Maybe you just had a bad dream during your nap that really disturbed you??
