Mari's Birthday Party

On Saturday morning we headed over to one of your mom's friends apartments on the upper west side. Her daughter Mari was having her second birthday party. She is a little older than you.

For some reason you've always like hanging out with old men. There was one old man there. A neighbor of Mari's. Sure enough you hung out with him for most of the day. He was a pretty cool customer though. He kept you entertained.
Instead of a birthday cake, Mari's mom (on the left) put a bunch of yummy cupcakes on a tiered platter. He she is blowing out her candle.
Everyone was pretty impressed with on gift. A Sesame Street book that had a picture of Mari on every page and her name inserted into the storyline. Pretty cool gift.
