Brooklyn Museum

Today we took you to the Brooklyn Museum. Next door to this is the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. We took you there last year. What a big building it is.

We got there early so we headed over to the children's playground nearby. I love this shot. That's tough to do on a point-and-shoot camera.

How about that one? That's pretty cool too. I guess since we were going to an art museum daddy was feeling artistic.

Look how fast you are going? You're a blur!

You enjoyed climbing on a seal that spouts water. But there was no water coming out now that it is no longer summer.

We then headed over to a cool little water fountain in front of the museum.

It would spurt water out in patterns.

Then we went to see the show. It was a guy who makes sculptures of people that look like real people. The only thing that lets you know it isn't real is that they are either very big or very small. Look how big this lady is! It was a pretty cool show.

After the show we did a little shopping while you slept. Then we came back home and daddy crashed on the bed. Then mommy crashed on the floor. We were all so tired. After we got motivated we decided to go to Katz's for pastrami sandwiches for dinner. So we hopped on the train.

And here we are at Katz's. Just behind us is where they filmed part of a movie called "When Harry Met Sally". You liked the pastrami but you still wanted your french fries. The pastrami there is very good. And as a treat I surprised mommy that night with some pastries from Almondine. A Napolean, creme brulee bomb, and a strawbery tart. What a fun day.
