BBQ With Sara & Scott

Later that morning, while you napped in the carseat for an hour, Daddy and I walked along Abbott Kinney in Venice. There were a few cute shops for kids clothes, galleries and other boutiques. We were all hungry so we drove to Westwood for a quick lunch at In 'N Out Burger - it was very yummy. You enjoyed eating a few bites of my Double-Double and snacked on french fries too.

After lunch, we drove to your cousins' house in South Pasadena. Your Grandparents also joined us for the afternoon. When we arrived, you burst into tears when you saw Hal-mo-ni - you must have thought that we were going to leave you again. We walked into Sara's bedroom, and you just cried your eyes out. Maybe you also remembered the last time we stayed at Sara/Scott's house over the summer - Daddy and I left you for the night so that we could go to a wedding. Daddy took you outside to play and you finally stopped crying. But every time you saw Hal-mo-ni, your lips started to quiver. What a cry baby!

Sara started to take violin lessons a few weeks ago so she played 'Twinkle Twinkle' for us. I was impressed.
Next you played with all of their toys outside. When Scott woke up from his nap, he gave you a big hug and kiss. So adorable.
Sara also wanted to give you a hug especially after you stopped crying.
You had fun riding Scott's motorcycle - though you were not very good at steering. You almost crashed into the BBQ.
The three of you played in the sandbox - Sara was making pretend sandwiches for Daddy and me.
Sara showed off how she could climb up the olive tree. Obviously you tried to copy her later on. How daring!
Uncle Chester grilled all of the kalbi that your Grandma prepared. When it was time to eat, the kids sat at a small table and the adults at the big table. Look at how cute the three of you look!
After dinner, you finally warmed up to Hal-mo-ni.
When we finished eating cheesecake and fruits for dessert and cleaned up the kitchen, your Grandparents left and drove home to Oxnard. It was good to see them especially since we won't be in LA for the holidays. Bye, Hal-mo-ni and Hal-ah-bo-ji!
