Today we went to the International Center of Photography to see a photo exhibit. Here we are outside. You've taken to sitting in your stroller now with your legs wide open. Charming.

Here's some of the artist's work. His name is Atta Kim. He's Korean like you. He takes very long exposures of things like city intersections, ice blocks melting, and people having sex (below). Meow. How funny. It was an interesting exhibit.

After that we walked across the street to Bryant Park which is on 42nd & 6th. You loved the waterfall. You kept saying, "water" which is one of your newer words.

Here I am pointing something out to you and naming it. That's basically all I do as your dad. Point to things and name them. "See the waterfall? That's a waterfall. Waterfall. See the waterfall. Where's the waterfall?" At the end of that you point to the waterfall to shut me up.

And then we moved on and did something really fun. We went on a merry-go-round. You've never been on one before. We had to strap you in and then we waited for it to move around and up and down. You were going nuts with excitement.

And here we are going around. You loved it.

There were lots of horses and a cat and a bunny rabbit to ride on but you chose the 'froggy'.

After that we moved up near the library. You love to pick up pebbles and give them to mommy and me.

"Hey what are you doing up there daddy?"

I thought this was a very pretty shot of you.

The whole time after we went on the merry-go-round you kept saying "Froggy... froggy... froggy". We knew what that meant. You wanted another ride. After lunch (which had to be forced down your throat) we went back for another ride.

And here's a video!
On Sunday we met Lisa, Steve, and Luke and mommy's friend Molly (from California) for brunch in Tribeca. You were very well behaved because you had a big audience to entertain and to shower you with adoration. That night however we all went out to Buddakan Restaurant and you and Luke stayed behind with Lisa's nanny at their apartment. You just hate it now when we leave you. You used to be fine but now you hate it. Worse, you are smart enough to know that we are leaving before we tell you because we're getting ready or telling the nanny instructions. You were very sad but fast asleep when we all got back to the apartment. We were a little loud when we got back and you woke up. But we got you back home and into bed and you were fast asleep in no time.
