Westlake Mini-Reunion

Today after swimming class, we met a few of Mommy's high school friends for brunch at Five Front. Last month, at the last Dumbo Block Party, I bumped into Catherine Tiangha (now Colton) and her daughters (Morgan who is 3 years old and Erin, 5 weeks old). We planned to have brunch together and invited Susan Son (and her husband Ko). I also invited Lara Hine, another classmate, who has been living in NY since January - Lara just finished culinary school and is doing an externship at Eleven Madison Park (one of Danny Meyer's restaurants). Lara, Catherine, Susan and I played volleyball (and basketball) together but have not really kept in touch since we graduated from high schoool. It was fun to hear what everyone was up to and who they kept in touch with.

Catherine and her husband John had their second girl, Erin, about 10 weeks ago. Daddy held Erin - it is hard to believe that you were that tiny only a year ago.
Here is Susan, Ko and Morgan - Morgan is very social too. She is very talkative too - we can't wait until you can start talking too.
After brunch, we went for ice-cream cones at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory on the pier. You had fun running around the pier while we bought our cones; unfortunately we don't let you eat any ice cream yet. We also took a group photo to send to the Westlake Alumni news too. photo 16

Morgan and you lalso tried to climb the wire fence - the two of you were very cute together. Maybe Catherine and Girlie can arrange for a playdate with Morgan/Erin soon. photo 17
