Month 17 Stats

It's that time of the month again. You are now 17 months old. This month was a big one for you. The thing we've been working on more than anything else this month is your speech. Last month you were so so. "Wow", "Mommy", "Daddy", "Five", etc. A few words here and there you could pronounce. This month you've decided to try pronouncing a lot more things. You can't say anything that well (you have trouble with r's l's and any odd sound like sh or ch) but you are pretty close on almost anything we give you.

You can also see your hair has grown out quite a bit. Girlie is no longer trimming your hair now so it can grow out longer. It comes down into your eyes. We try to put a barrette in your hair but you just pull it out.


You're starting to look like a hippy!


Here I am tickling you. Man what a laugh!


You still love to put things around the back of your neck.

I also wanted to post this fun picture. Sometimes when you get home I put you up on the kitchen counter and you make you way over to the sink. You've learned to turn the faucet on and you love to hold your hand under the water.
