Mommy Went Adios

Mommy left again for Seattle today. Just you and me kiddo for a few days. As usual you were hungry when I got home so we fed you your favorite - tofu. You weren't content to eat one piece at a time. You wanted the whole thing.


Okay that's a bit more civilized. This week I have noticed a marked improvement in your ability to talk. You can say some words on first try. You're still not used to saying a word to get something though. You just like to repeat after us and you know what the words mean. Tonight you took a bit of a step when you learned to say "up" when you wanted help getting up on the bed.


You played a little with your "office" today. You don't have a lot of interest in that thing any more.


As usual you wanted to get into mommy's drawer again too.


And I tickled you on the bed as punishment.


And to retaliate you turned up the heat in daddy's bedroom.


We played a little with the basketball. You beat me 68 - 66. You saw the Sports page in the New York Times and wanted to play ball after seeing some basketball players in one of the pictures.


While you love to hug and kiss mommy and daddy, Pooh Bear is still your favorite object of affection. He gets quite slobbered on.


And one bad, but cute shot of you trying to kiss me with the camera. I don't think you wanted me to feel left out. We put you down after your milk. You got up early today so you went down at 8:10 without a peep.
