Jersey Shore 2006

This past weekend we drove down to the New Jersey Shore to celebrate Memorial Day weekend (the first long weekend of summer) with Ji Mi, Sandy, and Tommy, and the rest of their neighbors over there. One of your favorite toys this weekend was Ernie from Sesame Street.


Outside of Ji Mi's house you were perplexed by the pebbles. Very hard to walk on.


You had fun sitting on Ji Mi's lap looking out on the ocean inlet.


And they had grass! You loved the grass. There's very little grass by us and it's not as nice and green as this. You still have Ernie.


The other kids that lived nearby were laughing because you call anyone who is not an adult, a baby. Everyone wanted to be called a baby so they kept asking you, "Who is the baby?"


We also went down to the beach. Here's Moo boogie boarding.


You weren't quite sure what to make of the sand and water.


Stil thinking about it.


Maybe I'll just take a break and drink some milk.

After all that thinking you needed a nap. You always have that pouty look when you are sleeping.


Here you are later in the day back at the house with Moo and Sandy. Those cute pants you are wearing are a gift from Jimi. There's a matching top too.


Here's your favorite toy. You'd sit in the tricycle and we'd push you around the backyard.


Here's everyone eating. We had a barbecue cookoff with three contestants. It was very yummy. I'm keeping the kids entertained in the background.
