Freakshow

On Saturday night we took the A train up to Lincoln Center to see a person by the name of David Blaine. As you can see a lot of other people went to see him as well. Who is David Blaine you ask? He used to be a magician but now he just seems to be doing outrageous acts all over the world. This week he was in New York. He was going to spend an entire week in a bubble of water.

People were lining up to see him and have their pictures taken with him. We skipped that rigamarole. You can see he's got some goggles on and a diving respirator so he has some air to breathe. It was quite weird to see.

Here's another shot of him.

After we had enough of that we walked around the plaza. This is where a lot of ballet and jazz and opera and classical music is presented. You seemed more content to try and rip my cheek off.

If you look closely you can see the bubble all the way in the back.

They also had a big screen up that showed him in the water bubble in case you couldn't see with all the crowds.

As usual you were very social. You love to walk up to people and say hi. Old ladies in particular love this because I'm sure it reminds them when they were parents. You even blew this nice lady a kiss which is one of your newer tricks.

You were also pretty interested in the fountain. I don't think you've seen one of those before either

And finally we took a picture of you with mommy before we move on.

After that we walked through the Time Warner building and I caught you and mommy with some naked guy. Not sure what that was all about.

On the way home while we were waiting for the subway you decided to starting sucking on your feet again. You used to do this when you were younger.

Earlier in the day you tried to do your own David Blaine - trying to fit your entire body into a box that is too small.

You did your best but it didn't quite work out.
