Toshi emailed me today to ask for restaurant recommendations in Seattle. And I forgot to tell him mommy was there. Perhaps she'll call tonight. Today definitely wanted the camera. There was a lot of climbing on daddy.
There's your usual determined look on your face. Lips pressed together. We also called your Grandma June and Grandpa Gordon. They were very happy that mommy sent them chocolates. We also read a little today, practiced our alphabet, and played with daddy's new brush for cleaning his shoes.
We tried to take a group picture but you forgot to keep your eyes open here. Keep them open next time.
Better but try to not hog the camera.
Okay worse. No grabbing the camera. No hogging the picture.
I give up. At least you blew mommy a kiss before we say goodbye.

Today is my birthday - it's too bad I am not home to celebrate with you two. I think Daddy even forgot it was my birthday :(
I just got home from dinner with a few friends - Melinda and her two kids (Cate who is 25 months and Jack who is 4 weeks), Meghan and her son Henry who is almost 4 months old, and Kirsten. Since I am baby-less this week, I held Henry for a while - it made me miss you even more.
Looks like you are having fun at home with Daddy. One more day in Seattle plus one day in San Francisco - then I will be back home. Good night.
