Soccer with Grandpa, Books with Grandma

This afternoon your grandparents took us to a nearby park so that you could run around on the grass and get some fresh air. Your grandpa was showing you how to kick the soccer ball - it must have reminded you of when Daddy taught you how to kick a ball inside our house.
After a few kicks, you were very interested in walking on the gravel and rubbing your shoes in the small rocks. It must have felt funny on your feet.
Then you climbed up and down the stairs to the bandstand.
Your grandpa picked a nice smelling flower for you, but you just wanted to eat it.
We had an easy night at home for the rest of the night - we watched TV and read magazines while watching you play on the floor. You were delighted when your grandma read a few books to you while you sat on her lap. Then everyone went to bed at 8:30pm.
One more thing - earlier today, we went for a walk around the block and you noticed your shadow. You kept on spreading your hands out and then touching the cement to "feel" the shadow of your hands. It was very cute - too bad I did not have my camera with me.

Oh such cute pictures. Sounds like a fun day. And that grass! So green. There's nothing in New York that green :).
