Running Around Town

Today we went out early for brunch. We went to Prune in the East Village. Unfortunately we went out a little too early. The place wasn't open yet. Lucky for you there was a park next door. Mommy kept our place in line and I took you over to the swings. You were laughing and laughing.


Here's a good action shot of you and mommy. She actually popped over to see you because you were on the swing. If you click on the picture to enlarge it you can see your fingers are white. You were holding on for dear life.


We then walked around a little more. You kept checking out the birds.


Here's a nice shot of your outfit. You got lots of compliments about your stockings.


And there was a waterfall that was dry but had little sculptures of fish that you liked.


Here's where we had brunch - Prune. It was excellent. You can always tell when the cooks are French trained because they know how to cook eggs well. You had some scrambled eggs, I had steak and eggs (I'm doing Atkins right now), and mommy had an fried oyster omelet. All of it was excellent.


Then we did a bit of shopping. We ended up in the bookstore as usual and picked out a few books for you.


We also stopped off at the Container Store to get some containers for your toys. You matched them today. Here you are inside one.


Mommy also bought you some sunglasses a while back. You hate to have them on but we had to get at least one picture of you with them on.
