Last Day at Alta

This morning, Daddy left early with Ty to go skiing at Alta. Suzanne decided to book a spa appointment at the Cliff hotel instead of skiing. After I fed you breakfast, we drove to Alta. I dropped you off at daycare - this time, you cried a little when I was getting ready to leave. The teacher distracted you with a few books and then I snuck out. I met Daddy and Ty on the mountain at 10:15AM and we skied for two hours straight. Unlike the past two days, today was very cloudy so it was difficult to ski in the flat light.

At 12:30pm, we said goodbye to Ty since he had to head to the airport for his flight back to Seattle. Your Daddy and I went into the lodge to warm up and have lunch. We ended up calling it a day because your Daddy pulled his back again. We took an easy run down to the bottom of the mountain.

After dropping off our ski gear in the car, we went to pick you up from daycare. You were having fun playing with a blue tugboat and a few other toys. What a cutie!


Tomorrow afternoon we fly home - all of us will be happy to be home again. . .except Mommy has to fly back to Seattle on Thursday morning for a closing dinner celebration.
