Today you had your 15 month check-up with Dr. Turner. I met Girlie and you at the doctor's office - actually I caught up to you two a few streets before Dr. Turner's office. While we were waiting in the examination room, you were playing with the ear light instrument attached to the wall - you thought it was another phone and started to talk into it. Very funny.
Your stats: 31 inches for height; 23 lbs, 1 oz for weight; and 46.5 cm for head circumference
You were quite playful until Dr. Turner gave you 3 shots in your arms (DTaP, PCV and Varicella/Chicken Pox). You wailed very loudly and Girlie came into the room to console you. Poor baby - you had a rough day starting out with gas pains in the morning and then 3 shots in the afternoon. The good news is that you are done with your immunizations until you are 4 years old.
We walked back home and stopped by Starbucks. We let Girlie go home early to see Alywin after his first day of work at some drycleaners in Manhattan. After Girlie left, you had another fit and started to cry. I had to do some work but you would not stop crying. We went for a walk to Half-Pint and bumped into Kai and his nanny Mari-Jo. You had fun running around the store while I checked out the sale rack for a few bargains. We walked home and bumped into Daddy in the elevator.
Daddy whipped up a nice dinner of snapper and brocolli. . . but then he had a fit about the lack of fresh grocery options. Note to self - next time I will just keep my mouth shut!
Before we put you down to bed, we gave you some Children's Motrin and Baby Oragel for your teething pain. Hopefully you slept well. Good night!
