Central Park Zoo

On Saturday we went up to Central Park and visited the zoo. It was, because it was one of the first summer-like days in a while, a zoo! We got to see real life examples of a lot of the animals you normally see in books. Unfortunately we forgot to bring your camera! Oh well I stole some pictures I found on the web that were taken at Central Park Zoo of the animals you saw.

Polar Bear. There were two of them. They were big!


Sea Lions. They were out front. Very cute but lazy too. They hardly moved.


Penguins. They were located behind a glassed off area so you could see them swim underwater and to keep the air and water cold.


Red Pandas. This guy also was very lazy.


Monkey. You do a cute monkey impersonation that we'll have to get on video.


Pig. There was a kid zoo there with a cow and sheep and bunny rabbits.
